A man walks his dogs past Doonagore Castle, a 16th-century tower overlooking the Atlantic near Doolin, County Clare. The castle has witnessed centuries of Irish history, including the execution of 170 Spanish soldiers following the failed Armada invasion of England in 1588.
In the 1970s, it was bought and restored by Irish-American John Gorman, whose family still owns it. Perhaps that's him walking the dogs!
