Aperio’s open calls begin with an idea, not an answer.

We invite artists working across all mediums to bring their own interpretation to each theme. We’re interested in work with something to say: work that surprises us, shifts our perspective or takes the theme somewhere we hadn’t anticipated.

Selected work is professionally presented and offered for sale through Aperio for the duration of the exhibition. Entry is free, and artists retain 80% of the sale price: because an exhibition should create opportunities to sell work, not simply a place to show it.
